Egyptian TV presenter Sarah Khalifa, 39, and 11 others have been sentenced to death by hanging by a Cairo court for allegedly forming an organised group involved in manufacturing and trafficking synthetic drugs. 

Authorities reportedly seized over 750 kg of narcotics and raw materials.
