**Former Delhi Chief Secretary Rakesh Mehta Dies by Suicide in Noida

Former Delhi Chief Secretary Rakesh Mehta, a 1975-batch IAS officer, allegedly died by suicide at his Noida residence on September 6, police said. 

A purported suicide note reportedly cited mental and health issues. Mehta served as Delhi’s Chief Secretary from 2007 to 2010 and played a key role in preparations for the 2010 Commonwealth Games.
