27-year-old **Shardendu Tiwari** chose a life of service over a lucrative corporate career, leaving his nearly ₹46 lakh annual package at Amazon and an opportunity with Airbus to pursue his dream of joining the Indian Army. 

After eight attempts, he finally succeeded and was commissioned as an **Army officer** at OTA Gaya.
