**Germany Announces €1.35 Billion Military, Energy Aid for Ukraine**

German Chancellor Friedrich Merz announced a €1.35 billion package for Ukraine during his Kyiv visit, including €1 billion in military aid and €350 million for energy infrastructure. 

Germany and Ukraine are also finalising agreements on joint drone production, including interceptors, while Berlin backs Ukraine’s long-range weapons development.
