**‘Ghost’ Rumour Sparks Chaos at Chitkara University**

A viral video claiming a “ghost” was haunting Chitkara University’s hostel triggered a late-night protest by hundreds of students in Patiala. 

Students also circulated unverified claims about missing girls and a previous suicide. The protest escalated into clashes with police and damage to a police vehicle. University officials said no death or suicide occurred on campus.
