** Homoeopaths Turn to Allopathy Amid Job Insecurity, But Only 10 Get Permission

Amid job insecurity, thousands of homeopaths in Maharashtra are seeking permission to practise modern medicine. More than **10,000 have applied**, but only **10 have received official certification** so far. 

Experts say properly trained practitioners could help strengthen healthcare access, especially in underserved rural and low-income areas, provided strict training, certification and patient-safety standards are followed.
