**IIT Bombay Places Professor on Leave Amid Student Death Probe**

IIT Bombay has asked Professor Suryanarayana Doolla to go on leave following protests over the death of BTech student Sahil Wakode. 

The institute has formed a 10-member committee to examine the circumstances and submit its report within a week. Mumbai Crime Branch is separately investigating the case and reviewing CCTV and other evidence.
