**INDIA MOVES TO ARM SU-30MKI WITH RUSSIAN RVV-BD MISSILES**

India is considering a proposal to modify its Su-30MKI fighters to integrate Russia’s long-range RVV-BD air-to-air missile, according to ANI.

The missile is designed for long-range engagement of aerial targets and could give the IAF a major capability against AWACS, AEW&C, tankers and other high-value aircraft.

The proposal is being considered by the Defence Acquisition Council today, September 7.

The deal and integration are not yet approved.
