India’s High Commissioner to Bangladesh, Dinesh Trivedi, held key high-level meetings in New Delhi on Tuesday (6 October 2026) to steady and advance bilateral relations.

Trivedi made an unscheduled visit to New Delhi from Dhaka on Monday night and met Prime Minister Narendra Modi at approximately 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Later on Tuesday, High Commissioner Trivedi held a separate interaction with the Chief of the Army Staff (COAS), General Dhiraj Seth.
