IndiGo flight 6E925, operating from Patna to Lucknow as part of its Patna–Ahmedabad journey, was struck by lightning at around 17,000 feet on October 7.

The Airbus A320-251N landed safely at Lucknow with 104 passengers and 6 crew members on board. No injuries were reported.

The lightning damaged the aircraft's nose radome, prompting engineers to ground the aircraft for inspection. DGCA was informed.
