**Iranian Twin Sisters Face Death Sentence After Protests**

Twin sisters Taraneh and Romina Rahimi, who joined anti-government protests in Iran earlier this year, were reportedly detained and allegedly tortured in custody.

 Taraneh has now been sentenced to death, while Romina received a 25-year prison sentence. Their family says they were subjected to severe beatings and solitary confinement.
