Lance Naik Rohit Narayan Patil and Paratrooper Ajay Bhagat of 1 PARA SF lost their lives after being swept away during a watermanship training exercise at Hathnikund Barrage in Yamunanagar, Haryana.

Their bodies were recovered after a major search operation involving the Army, NDRF, SDRF, IAF and local authorities.
