**Luxembourg Backs India’s Bid for Permanent UNSC Seat**

Luxembourg Deputy PM and Foreign Minister **Xavier Bettel** backed India’s bid for a permanent UN Security Council seat, saying India’s size and global importance make its inclusion necessary. 

He also called the existing veto system outdated and proposed allowing a two-thirds majority to override a veto as part of UNSC reforms.
