**MP CM Calls Ladli Behna Scheme a “Heavy Financial Burden**”

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has described the Ladli Behna scheme as a “very costly affair,” saying he had not anticipated its financial impact. 

The scheme currently provides ₹1,500 monthly to eligible women and is estimated to cost the state around ₹22,680 crore annually.
