**Musk, Altman Back Calls to Slow Down AI Development**

Elon Musk and OpenAI CEO Sam Altman have supported **Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei’s** call to slow the development of advanced AI systems. 

Amodei warned that increasingly powerful models could become difficult to control and pose serious cybersecurity and societal risks. He urged AI companies to strengthen independent safety evaluations, industry cooperation and international oversight before advancing further.
