India’s notebook manufacturers have urged the government to intervene as **cheap, duty-free** imports from ASEAN countries threaten domestic producers. 

The industry wants a minimum import price, anti-dumping probes and faster export refunds. 

The association said around 1,500 units employing 1.25 lakh people could be affected if the situation continues.
