OFFICIAL TIMELINES SET FOR INDIA’S NEXT-GEN FIGHTER FIRST FLIGHTS

India's Ministry of Defence confirmed firm first-flight schedules for its indigenous combat jets. The medium-weight Tejas Mk2 prototype is targeted to fly by September 2027, followed by the fifth-generation stealth Advanced Medium Combat Aircraft (AMCA) prototype in September 2028.
