Oil India Limited has struck natural gas in the shallow-water block KG-DSF/GSKW/2018 of the Krishna-Godavari Basin. The Godavari-1 appraisal well hit hydrocarbons at a depth of 2,024–2,027 metres, registering a significant peak flow rate of 200,000 SCMD alongside 170 barrels of condensate per day.
