Rajasthan has unveiled an ambitious plan to reach 125 GW of renewable energy capacity by 2030—anchored by 90 GW of solar, 25 GW of wind and hybrid systems, and 10 GW of energy storage—to drive a quarter of India’s 500 GW national clean energy target.

Backed by fiscal perks like electricity duty exemptions and fast-track land clearances, the roadmap unlocks massive opportunities for global developers and clean-tech manufacturers, though scaling up will depend heavily on overcoming project financing and interstate transmission bottlenecks.
