Sarvam AI has signed a five-year MoU with India’s Ministry of Defence (HQ IDS) to deploy sovereign AI technologies across the Army, Navy, and Air Force. 

Operating through its Chanakya division, the startup will utilize indigenous models like the Sarvam 105B for critical tasks, including target acquisition and data fusion, while ensuring human oversight remains final.
