**Scotch whisky gets cheaper in India**

Scotch whisky prices have fallen 10–15% in parts of India after the India-UK trade agreement reduced import duty on British whisky from 150% to 75%. Cuts are already visible in Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Goa and Uttar Pradesh, while the tariff is scheduled to decline further to 40% over 10 years.
