SHOCKING: Sri Lankan Tamil migrant worker Sivarasa Anojan has reportedly been sentenced to death in Saudi Arabia over a Facebook comment deemed insulting to Islam and Prophet Muhammad.

He had deleted the comment within minutes and later apologised. His original sentence was 5 years in prison and a SAR 3 million fine, but his appeal reportedly resulted in a death sentence.

Sri Lankan authorities are helplessly pursuing legal and diplomatic efforts to save him.
