**The Hindu Apologises Over Ram Rahim Advertisement**

The Hindu has apologised after publishing a full-page advertisement portraying convicted rapist Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh and his Dera Sacha Sauda organisation positively. 

The advertisement cited unverified claims about social work and alleged a conspiracy against him. The newspaper said it “deeply regrets” carrying the “offensive” content. Dainik Bhaskar also published a similar advertisement.
