The Indian Air Force (IAF) has officially released the permanent retention selection list for its first batch of Agniveer Vayu (Intake 01/2022).

• 2,850 Agniveers from the inaugural batch completing their four-year term.

• 712 Agniveers (constituting 25% of the batch) have been selected for the regular permanent cadre.

• The remaining personnel complete their Four-year tenure under the Agnipath Scheme and transition out with designated Financial Exit packages and skill certifications.
