The NIA is conducting searches at multiple locations across Kashmir in an ongoing cross-border terror conspiracy case involving Pakistan-based handlers and suspected local Over Ground Workers (OGWs).

Local reports say the searches are being carried out in Kulgam, Bandipora and Sopore, with NIA teams assisted by J&K Police and other security personnel. Some reports also mention Ganderbal.

The case, originally registered at Zakoora Police Station in Srinagar, was later taken over by the NIA as RC-02/2026/NIA/JMU.

Investigators are probing alleged logistical and other support provided to terrorists infiltrating from Porkistan.
