Two  Minnesota Bohra Shia Muslim doctors performed illegal Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) on young girls to restrict their sexual activity and called it a Shia  Muslim islamic practice.

The Bohra doctors have said they hold a strong islamic belief in the practice.
