Ujjain Collector Roshan Singh says a minor portion of the Shahi Masjid was damaged while the Muslim community was removing an extra structure for road widening. It will be repaired immediately after discussions with religious leaders.

He clarified that there is no major damage and no one is trapped. People have been urged not to spread rumours or unverified videos and to avoid confrontation.

Strict action will be taken against rumour-mongers.
