**UP Man Shoots 19-Year-Old Daughter for Rejecting Arranged Marriage, Choosing Partner of Her Choice**

A 48-year-old man allegedly shot his 19-year-old daughter in the head while she was asleep in Bhongaon, Mainpuri, Uttar Pradesh.
Police said the attack followed her refusal to marry a man chosen by her father and her insistence on marrying the person she loved. She sustained critical injuries in the incident.
