**US and Ukraine Launch First $30 Million Joint Mineral Project** **in Ukraine **

The United States and Ukraine have begun active exploitation under their first joint mineral extraction deal. 

The **$30 million project** focuses on developing critical deposits of uranium, beryllium, zirconium, and rare earth elements. To offset past American military assistance, half of the venture's proceeds will be routed into a shared fund as part of a targeted effort by the Trump administration to recoup weapons costs.
