**US Court Orders Removal of Encroachment From Mahatma Gandhi’s Grandson’s 30-Acre Land in Virginia**

A US court has ruled in favour of a charitable trust established by Mahatma Gandhi’s grandson Kanu Gandhi and his wife Shiva, ordering a Virginia resident, Gregory Black, to vacate their 30-acre property.

The 20-month legal battle was led by Surat-based trustee Parimal Desai, who used AI and GIS mapping to challenge the resident’s claim of ownership through adverse possession. The court also ordered the removal of structures and belongings from the land within 30 days.
