**A Russian official will attend the G20 energy ministers’ meeting in Houston on September 14–16, a White House official confirmed to** [Reuters](https://www.reuters.com/business/energy/russian-official-attend-g20-energy-meeting-houston-next-week-white-house-2026-09-11/).

The White House has not yet identified who will represent Russia. The meeting follows Russian Finance Minister Anton Siluanov’s in-person participation in G20 talks in North Carolina last month.
