**Bank of America Vice President Erin Piacenti, 32, was killed Monday in a "random" stabbing in Times Square. A 68-year-old man was also stabbed and remains hospitalized in stable condition.**

Police said 49-year-old Pamela Cisneros pulled two kitchen knives from a bag and attacked the victims within about 20 seconds. Officers spent several minutes ordering her to surrender before Tasers failed to stop her as she advanced with the knives; two officers then opened fire, killing her.
