**Britain** [says](https://www.reuters.com/world/russia-summons-uk-envoy-over-londons-weapons-supplies-ukraine-2026-09-18/) **it will not scale back military support for Kiev after Moscow warned that British military facilities in Ukraine used for strikes on Russian territory would be considered legitimate targets.**

The UK Foreign Office rejected the Russian warning and said London would continue supplying Ukraine with the equipment it says is needed for self-defense. The response follows a new £100 million British air-defense package, including Patriot missiles and other systems to be delivered before winter.
