**British forces at NATO's Tapa base in Estonia have brought long-range Nyan kamikaze drones into service,** [Postimees](https://pmo.ee/8561178) **reports. The base is roughly 250 km from St. Petersburg, within the drones' stated range of over 250 km.**

The jet-powered drones arrived during May's Spring Storm exercises. Developed by BAE Systems subsidiary Callen-Lenz, Nyan carries a payload of under 20 kg and is launched by pneumatic catapult. Britain has not disclosed the number deployed.
