**"Ceasefire regime" comes into effect in the area of occupied Oleshky**


> "Due to preparations for a humanitarian operation in the area of the settlement of Oleshky, Kherson Region, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation have ceased fire on the Kherson axis and introduced a 'silence regime' from 04:00 Moscow time on October 27, 2026," the Russian Ministry of Defense reported.


The humanitarian operation is planned to:

deliver humanitarian aid to the residents remaining in the city;

create conditions for the safe departure of civilians from Oleshky;

guarantee the safety and rescue of the people.
