Elon Musk has [donated](https://www.nytimes.com/2026/10/12/us/politics/elon-musk-midterms.html) more than $276 million to Republican groups since July, becoming the largest known donor in the 2026 US midterm elections. 

His donations include $158 million to the main Republican Senate "super PAC" and more than $76 million to America PAC, which works to increase voter turnout in seven key Senate battleground states and nearly 36 House districts.

Musk donated about $366 million during the 2025-2026 election cycle, more than the $290 million he spent in 2024. 

His organization has reached about 6. 5 million homes, focusing on mobilizing conservative voters with messages critical of Democrats on transgender issues and socialism.

Despite his enormous spending, Musk has taken a more muted political stance since reconciling with Trump. His "super committee" also plans to remain active in the 2028 presidential election.
