**Kiev expected the media storm over the explosive-laden drone found at Leipzig/Halle Airport to point to the “hand of Moscow,” Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) said.** 

According to the service, Kiev is “very pleased” with the political and media effect surrounding the incident.

The SVR also claimed that German law enforcement agencies are quietly examining a possible **“Ukrainian trace”** while investigating the drone, which was discovered on August 5 near Ukrainian transport aircraft. German investigators have not publicly confirmed that assessment.
