Loitering ammunition filled with explosives attacked a police station in the Santa Rita del Rio area.

The attack was blamed on the National Liberation Army (ELN), a Colombian Marxist-Leninist guerrilla organization. There have been several similar incidents over the past month, including attacks on other infrastructure such as a radar used by Colombia's Civil Aviation Authority.
