**Personal data belonging to 8.7 million customers was stolen in a cyberattack targeting three UK airports operated by Manchester Airports Group (MAG)**, [Sky News](https://news.sky.com/story/customer-data-stolen-after-manchester-airport-targeted-in-cyber-attack-13577714) reports.

The breach affected **Manchester, Stansted and East Midlands airports**. Stolen data included email addresses, phone numbers, vehicle registrations and postcodes, while MAG said bank and payment details were not exposed.
