**Russia is expelling a group of Hungarian diplomats in retaliation for Budapest’s removal of Russian diplomatic staff, the Russian Foreign Ministry said.**

Hungary’s chargé d’affaires Gábor Gergics was summoned to the ministry and informed that staff from the Hungarian Embassy in Moscow and its consulates general in St. Petersburg and Kazan must leave Russia within two weeks. Moscow called Hungary’s earlier expulsions “unfounded and unfriendly.”
