**Saudi Arabia could lose up to 4% of global oil supply if its East-West pipeline to the Red Sea is not restarted within days,** [Reuters](https://www.reuters.com/business/energy/saudi-pipeline-outage-threatens-loss-4-global-oil-supply-2026-09-13/) reports, citing Saudi oil buyers and traders.

The pipeline had been carrying around 4 million barrels per day to Yanbu before drone attacks forced its shutdown. Industry sources say Yanbu currently has enough oil in storage to maintain exports for only five to seven days. Riyadh has not disclosed how long repairs will take; estimates cited by Reuters range from an earlier partial restart to as long as five or six weeks.
