The [Russian Defense Ministry](https://t.me/mod_russia/66800) said its forces carried out a **massive overnight combined strike with ground-, air- and sea-launched precision weapons and drones**, hitting **defense-industrial, metallurgical, oil-refining and logistics targets in Kiev, Boryspil, Zaporozhye, Kremenchug, Kryvyi Rih and Ilyichovka. Port infrastructure in Odessa, Chernomorsk and Reni, as well as energy facilities supporting Odessa-region ports**, was also targeted.

The renewed focus on Ukrainian metallurgy is notable. Recent strikes hit both Zaporizhstal and ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih: Metinvest reported a full shutdown at Zaporizhstal after damage to energy, coke and blast-furnace facilities, while ArcelorMittal confirmed damage to its main energy and blast-furnace production and a partial halt to operations.
