The Trump administration asked Kiev to refrain from striking Moscow, St. Petersburg and northern Russia with long-range missiles and drones for three days, Financial Times correspondent Christopher [Miller reported](https://x.com/ChristopherJM/status/2092259971937529899), citing sources familiar with the request.

The pause covered Monday through Wednesday, when the US planned to send an aircraft carrying a senior official to Moscow. Ukraine agreed, the sources said. A US Air Force C-17 subsequently landed at Vnukovo Airport.
