**The United States will help reform and transform Armenia’s armed forces through advisory support, experience-sharing and other defense programs, US Deputy Assistant Secretary of War Andrew Loomis said after** [talks](https://armenpress.am/en/article/1260859) **in Yerevan.**

The consultations also covered military education, NCO training and joint exercises. Armenia remains formally in the Russia-led CSTO despite freezing participation, while Russia’s 102nd Military Base remains in Gyumri.
