The upcoming State Duma elections will confirm Russia’s resilience, the maturity of its political system, and its ability to withstand any external threats, blackmail and aggression, Vladimir Putin said at the United Russia congress.

The president noted that the people are the source of power in the country, and that the elections will express the collective will of millions of people and their determination to ensure Russia’s sovereignty and security.
