**Three Iranian military pilots have been held in Qatar for six months without the ability to contact the outside world, according to The Jerusalem Post.**

The pilots have been detained in Qatar for the past six months after their Su-24 tactical bombers were shot down in the region. According to a letter sent by Iranian General Mohammad Bagherzadeh to the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), the pilots, identified as Javad Salehi, Abolmajid Dashtian, and Omran Behraveshian, have been denied all contact with their families and staff at the Iranian consulate.

This incident highlights the serious tensions between Tehran and Doha, despite Qatar's involvement in regional negotiations. At the same time, Iranian officials have noted that a fourth pilot, Majid Kazemi, was previously returned after a separate military operation targeting Qatar.
