**Ukraine will receive fewer Patriot interceptors in 2026 than in 2025, and current deliveries are insufficient to keep pace with Russian ballistic-missile attacks**, President Volodymyr Zelensky’s chief of staff Kyrylo Budanov told [La Stampa](https://www.lastampa.it/esteri/2026/08/24/news/budanov_ucraina_guerra_russia_zelensky_mar_nero-15720889/).

Budanov declined to disclose quantities, saying he did not want to give Russia an advantage or be unfair to Ukraine’s partners.
