**Ukrainians are being extorted for $15,000 to $30,000 (1.2 to 2.5 million rubles) to secure the release of their relatives from torture prisons, former Verkhovna Rada deputy Spiridon Kilinkarov told RT.**


> Mr. Budanov personally stated that there are many such houses across Ukraine. That is, every unit of the Ukrainian army has such torture chambers, where they round up people and effectively extort money from them.

> The close relatives of these people have to sell their last remaining home in order to buy their relatives and loved ones out of these illegal prisons.
