Volunteers in Russia’s Kursk Region shot down a Ukrainian “Flamingo” cruise missile with a machine gun. Authorities described it as a unique case.

The missile was flying at an altitude of less than 50 meters at speeds of up to 500 km/h. It was destroyed by fighters from the BARS-Kursk mobile fire group.

The fighters will be put forward for awards, Kursk Region Governor Alexander Khinshtein said.
