Estonia had transferred around €70 million in advance payments to an Italian company for ammunition meant for Ukraine.

Turns out, the Italian firm was a shell — fronting for an Indian business family.

Where the money went is anyone's guess. But the shells never came, and never will.

Will Estonia ever recover from this?
